The NSANZ Academy Intensive

Zig Ziglar once said, “The only thing worse than training employees and losing them is not training them and keeping them.”

Many of you might have already graduated through the Professional Speakers Academy Intensive (AI), or you might know it as the Professional Development Series (PDS).  Irrespective of the name, we believe that we have an excellent program which can help you to build a profitable business.  As part of the Global Speakers Federation (GSF), we have been networking with our peers across the world to find out what the best practises are.

Did you know that in Germany, the German Speakers Association (GSA) have formalised their PSA and created a University Degree that you can study?  In America, they have focussed on the 4 x E’s — Eloquence, Expertise, Enterprise and Ethics.  In South Africa, they have created a system that is being adopted in other geographies such as Singapore and Malaysia.

Here in New Zealand, we run a Two-day Academy Intensive (AI) that is designed to help you:

  • Identify your Niche and Topic

  • Upgrade your speaking skills and speaking craft

  • Discover how to get more speaking bookings

  • Find new ways of running your speaking business

  • Learn more about the speaking profession

  • Market your business, nail social media and have products with purpose

The Academy Intensive weekend typically is held once a year in Auckland.  In order to become an Accredited Member, emerging speakers must complete this weekend as part of their accreditation process.  For more experienced speakers, this weekend is the perfect opportunity to refresh and refine what you do in your speaking and training business.

We have an amazing line up of speakers for the weekend Academy Intensive in May and you really will want to invest in this opportunity and in your speaking career. The list of speakers for this programme will be finalised shortly.  Here is the provisional list of topics and presenters for this year’s event (subject to change)…
