NSANZ Auckland Monthly Meeting for June 2018
SUCCESSFUL PRESENTERS ARE SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE
If you have thought or dreamt about standing in front of an audience with confidence, presenting with consummate ease, compelling the audience’s attention, creating action and commitment in them AND enjoying every moment – then this NSANZ evening is a must for you.
Allan Parker combines the proven science of presentation, interaction and influence to create magic from the stage – a spell that transforms audiences and has him in demand around the world. This is your chance to see a real master at work.
This is a taster for the full day workshop on Friday 29th June – see Eventbrite.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER:
Allan Parker is a behavioural scientist and an Adjunct Professor at the College of Law & Business, University of Western Sydney. He is a world master at the science of connecting with an audience and holding them spell bound for literally days at a time. His craft has seen him invited to work with organisations like Harvard, the OECD and even the United Nations for his skill and understanding on how to connect human to human and his ability to move hundreds at a time to self-governed action.
The National Speakers Association of Australia Educator of the Year and Nevin Award winner he uses science to weave magic around communicating to groups. His training and consulting style is unique; his sessions are best summed up in the following quote:
“… they are events which have a curious combination of theatre, education and self transformation. His approach is to build a base grounded in feelings of spontaneity, openness, warmth and generosity among the participants; he manages this without being contrived or manipulative. He has an excellent understanding of how to design a workshop, which has natural rhythm and flow. He is prepared to improvise around a theme, or even to change direction if the mood of the group dictates. He can be humorous, clever, challenging, emphatic and serious. His sessions are not for the emotionally squeamish or excessively defensive.”
Professor Mark Tennant Dean of the Faculty of Adult Education University of Technology, Sydney
